The Ridgid Threader 1224 cuts a
wide range of ¼” to 4” pipe, using two die heads, included.
Machine is mounted on a shop-built roll around stand, stronger and better balanced than the Ridgid stand.
This
is important when you are moving a 450 pound-plus machine!!
Can be
easily un-bolted for mounting on a bench, truck or other stand.
The
No. 714 2 ½ ~ 4” receding die head cuts both tapered (NPT)
or straight (NPSM) threads with same set of dies. Automatic through the
head oiling.
Dies are adjustable for cutting standard or +/- threads.
The model No. 711 1/4 ~ 2” self-opening die head has through the head
oiling.
Note: Does not self open on pipe smaller than ½”.
The 711 die
head has seen very little use, we used the machine for mostly 3” and 4”
pipe and conduit threading.
Sliding carriage carries die head, reamer,
and cutter,
Self-contained cutting oil supply with pump and chip tray two speed transmission cuts, reams and threads smaller pipe at 36 RPM,
switch to 12 RPM for cutting 2 ½ ~ 4”
Integral foot switch for safe
operation.
15’ power
cord plugs into a standard 120VAC 60hz socket (20amp recommended).
Heavy
plastic cover has 2 small stress cracks, typical on these machines.
Hardly noticeable and does not hinder the operation at all.
This powerful machine is very clean and ready to go to work for you, just add cutting oil and plug it in!
